Since its first release back in 2000, Reason has trodden a somewhat different path to most other music software. With its separate mixer, multiple racks, audio tracks and new devices, Reason 6 is a huge update from previous versions. By merging their flagship application with its sibling, Record, Propellerhead have created something users have demanded for years: Reason with built-in audio recording.
